Ford iosis

The iosis concept car embodies Ford of Europe's new design philosophy, according to the company. Front and rear gull-wing doors are among its more striking design elements.ExteriorExhibiting an Aston Martin-like profile and greenhouse, the iosis looks the part of a high-performance sport coupe and effectively conceals the fact that it has four full-size doors. The concept's grille is fairly ordinary and features thin, chrome, horizontal bars, but the lower air intake below is much more aggressively styled. Cameras are installed in place of side mirrors, and aluminum wheels measure 20 inches in diameter.InteriorThe iosis' gull-wing doors are made of carbon fiber. The design allows the iosis to go without the traditional B-pillar, which allows greater entry and exit room. Analog gauges are installed in the instrument cluster, in addition to an LCD screen that can display navigation system information or images from the car's camera network. The seats are made of aluminum and rubber. In contrast to the iosis' silver exterior color, the steering wheel, seats and door panel inserts are accented in bright orange. Memory sticks can be docked in the center stack, and Ford envisions this type of technology serving as a way to store seating, audio and other preferences.
